We have worked diligently to accomplish these wishes. We have renovated our hotel, added a banquet room, liquor store, grocery store, restaurant and deli all for your convenience. We take pride in knowing what our customer wants; their diversity in requests or needs, and the importance of keeping it simple, affordable – so we can ensure a repeat customer at Four Winds Centre.

A Brief History

The WINDS Family has been at High Level Alberta for 20 years.
Hotel ownership began December 15, 1989
80 room hotel, Lounge, Restaurant and Dining Room.

Some of the improvements/expansions we have done include:

Renovated and added a Liquor Store plus 2 rooms for storage in 1992.
In 1996 renovated hotel rooms and restaurant.
In 1998 renovated lounge and acquired 8 VLT’S.
In 2000 renovated Lounge to a VLT’s Gaming Room and received 15 VLT’S in Total.
In 2004 renovated hotel rooms put in tile flooring instead of rugs.
In 2004 took out 7 rooms next to Liquor store and put in a small Meats & Deli section of about 3000 square feet. Called this area of business - High Level Meats & Deli.
In 2006 we had a major fire and lost 11 rooms and the Deli and Liquor Store.
We re-built in 2006 and 2007 and opened a new building of 13,000 square feet.
In that area, we added a 200 seat Banquet Room, Liquor store, office and Grocery Store.
In 2009 we renovated the WINDS Lounge and Restaurant, front desk, lobby and washrooms. The outside of the main building had new siding and sidewalks.
In 2010 we renovated 10 rooms and added a Water, Bottle & Ice Factory “All 4 Water & Ice”

The “WINDS CENTER” now has 50 rooms, WINDS Restaurant, WINDS lounge and VLT’S gaming room, WINDS Grocery Store, All 4 Water & Ice, WINDS Liquor Store and WINDS Banquet Room.
